Benjamin Kamanga

Executive Director, Insurance Fund & Senior Advisor to the Managing Director

Benjamin Mutuku Kamanga is currently ZEP-RE’s Executive Director Insurance Fund and Senior Advisor to MD. Benjamin started his career and trained and qualified as an accountant at Deloitte, before joining the insurance industry where he has worked for the last 26 years – 13 years at Lion of Kenya Insurance Company Limited (currently ICEA Lion) and 13 years at ZEP-RE.

Benjamin is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FCPAK), a member of the Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (CPS), Certified Trainer in Corporate Governance (by the Centre of Corporate Governance & Commonwealth Association of Corporate Governance) and is also a Certified Executive Leadership Coach.

He is an alumnus of the University of Nairobi, Strathmore Business School and IESE Business School for Bachelor of Commerce, and he has a Master of Business Administration and Global Business Management Course respectively.

Benjamin sits on the Advisory Board of WAICA Reinsurance Corporation Plc.
