Frédéric Ntimarubusa

Frédéric Ntimarubusa joined the Board in June 2022. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Assurances BICOR and previously served in the same capacity at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of Burundi and the East and Central Africa Social Security Association (ECASSA). He also held the position of Advisor to the Office of the President of the Republic of Burundi.

Frédéric holds a PhD in Law from the University of Antwerp in Belgium, a diploma from the International Academy of Constitutional Law Tunis, and a law degree from the University of Burundi. He also holds a certificate in international labour standards from the International Training Centre (ITC).

He sits on the Board of Directors of the Banque Commerciale du Burundi and has also served in the boards of the National Social Security Fund and the University of Burundi where he is also a lecturer. He is also a trainer at the ILO Training Centre in Turin.
